AMAZON --  A police organization calling itself the Federation Policia Amazonia (FPN) is facing a number of accusations from people who claim its abusing its power, acting inappropriately with prisoners, and acting outside its jurisdiction.

Representatives of the FPN deny the allegations and claim its officers and adjudicators are acting with the utmost professionalism and respect for people's rights.

This weekend, officers with the FPN ransacked the Catadore Health Clinic, which is owned and operated by Eve and Dylan Heartsong.

According to Eve Heartsong, FPN Officer Alanxo arrived at the clinic on Saturday demanding information about the clinic's drug rehabilitation program. Citing privacy laws, Heartsong refused to provide any information.

The officer allegedly proceeded to break bottles of life-saving drugs on the floor, destroy expensive medical equipment, and even flipped over copier.

Eve Heartsong said that the Catadore Resort and its clinic are wihin sovereign territory outside the FPN jurisdiction. Besides questions of their legal authority, Heartsong said the police never explained the source of the allegations against the clinic and resort or precisely what drugs the police were seeking.

"She went through all of our stuff; she went nuts!" a clearly shaken Heartsong said, standing in the middle of broken glass and destroyed medical equipment, with tears in her eyes. "Our beautiful clinic."

"There nothing legit about police, bad people!" said Piper Tearfall, who is married to Bruce Tearfall, a known associate of the Legion.

Heartsong said that she attempted to file a complaint, seeking damages for 50,000 Amazon Coins (AZC) in damages, with Police Commissioner Nalle Jacobus. According to Heartson, Jacobus told her that Alanxo would be investigating the complaint to determine if she did any wrongdoing.

A person associated with the Legion, who could not give her name as she was not authorized to talk to the media, also accused Jacobus of engaging in inappropriate behavior with a female suspect, who is a member of the Legion.

Jacobus denied the allegation of inappropriate behavior and insisted the FPN conducts itself according to very high standards of proper law enforcement when conducting investigations and apprehending suspects. Another source with the FPN said they hold regular trainings with officers to ensure they follow proper procedures.

"I have no knowledge of this," Jacobus explained, referring to the allegations. "To the best of my understanding, my officers act according to relevant laws within those jurisdictions they are set to govern. To say that me or any other police officer will accept any gratification is pure fantasy. That is something that just don't happen in our force."

According Michel Morane, an associate of the FPN, the police were rightfully investigating what they believe is a front for a drug organization. Morane said the Heartsongs were offering "cocaine and Chianti" at a recent party.

FPN Officer Lisa Marie Moonshine confirmed that witnesses overheard Eve and Dylan Heartsong offering cocaine and Chianti at a party.

Morane also defended Jacobus, suggesting the allegations of inappropriate behavior are overblown.

"You know Nalle. He is all smiles when a girl is in front of him, always wanting to give a good impression of himself. Outside of a preference for being on top during sex, I don't see what could be reproached to him," Morane said.

He also accused Eve Heartsong of offering Officer Alanxo cocaine and wine as some form of bribe during her investigation into drugs at the clinic and resort.

Eve Heartsong didn't deny or confirm the allegations that Catadore Clinic or the associated resort are engaged in any recreational drug use or sales. Instead, she explained her business, which she co-owns with Dylan Heartsong, is on sovereign territory and that drugs are legal within Catadore.

The Catadore Constitution prohibits prostitution, hurting cats, and shooting employees or guests. Drugs are perfectly legal in Catadore. So even if the allegations are true, no laws of Catadore were broken.

Officer Alanxo was unavailable for comment as of press time.
