Master Giver 'retired'

As promised, today the Master Giver has been put on 'light duties' :-)

After stalwart service - delivering nearly 1.5 million items in the last year or so - the Master Giver will now serve only Curare Darts to those who make them.

This means:-

Your Amazon Fishing Spear is now purely decorative. Throw it away and buy an Amazon Rod from the vendor at Baia Santa Rosa.Your Amazon Soup Maker will no longer make soup (although it will happily consume ingredients!). Throw it away and buy an Amazon Bowl from the vendor at Baia Santa Rosa.'Old' ripening bananas/corncobs will not deliver their crop to you - replace them with the new ones you can buy at the volcano.Your may receive a message "MasterGiver: <<item name>> is no longer available via the Master Giver. Please use the Amazon Rod/Amazon Bowl for fish/soup.
Contact Baron (edgeofreason) if you think you got this message in error"

How IC escalates quickly to OOC

Here is what happened last night (from Thursday to Friday), in a nutshell: One group stole soups from the camp of another group. When the other gorup noticed that, they went right OOCly to the Amazon chat and called the "thieves" "poor", "Low", and "sickos" - also they added that if this would be how things are, they cancel support and would no longer spend L$.
as so often, there is no "black and white" but all parties have their share:
the thieves Thieves, Culprits, naughty ones: if you plan a roleplay, always consider that it is also imposing the situation on the others. Do not simply claim "We are a roleplay region, we can do that" but check first how you could involve others into your play. For example shoot them an IM first, maybe like "Hello, we plan, in the course of the next week, to "rob" your camp off the soups - we will take care that OOCly you are not really experiencing any loss but we would love if yo…

Seekers Revolt!

Having been offered next to nothing for their blessings except ice cream and bananas the seekers now turn the tables. Playing nice? You should not count on that. Seekers have been seen to attack hunters, stealing their meat, some get tickled even and stripped naked!
How long will this situation last?
Will the residents of the Amazon also hunt the seekers?
How can the dispute be dissolved?

Questions, dear reader that we lack the answer for. Watch this space!
