AMAZON —Expect to see some Tapirape women with blue lips in the coming days. 

The Tapirape will be blessing penises on Sunday, March 21, at 10 a.m. SLT, in the Tapirape camp, which is located just south of Bloodbath Bay. 

"This blessing will make Tapirape cocks delicious, procreative, and immune to sexually transmitted diseases," said Whispering Wind, one of the tribe's shaman -- a shawoman, you might say. 

The shaman said the penises of tribe members will be smeared in a blue paste made of ancient medicines. This paste appears to work as something of a condom, Viagra, and aphrodisiac -- all rolled into one. 

Whispering declined to reveal exactly what was in the paste, saying only it was an ancient native secret, which they closely guard. She did say, however, that it contains some sort of blue seed.

"The cocks will be in a beautiful blue color," the shaman said, laughing.

Whispering, along with other tribal healers, will be on hand to bless the cocks of the tribe. It was unclear if they would bless cocks of other peoples, but everyone is invited to witness the ritual.
