AMAZON - The Native Bar reopened Monday to great fanfare. Many came out to dance, drink, and celebrate the return of the dearly missed establishment.

There was plenty of alcohol, a great fire show, and the famous Wildcats performed and signed autographs for their fans.

The Red Coast bar closed down a few months ago after Golden Ghost allegedly torched it. Analysis of the surveillance footage showed Ghost setting the fire, investigators say.

The arsonist's motives remain unclear, but Native Bar owners Whispering Wind and Catten Carter said the damage was extensive.

“Whispering and me came too late to stop the blazing fire. It consumed the bar, the booze, even the banner we made,” Carter said.

Carter said Red Coast Resort security has so far failed to apprehend Ghost, nor have they managed to get restitution from the perpetrator.

“Renovation has been a long and costly process,” Carter said, adding that an alcohol supplier mysteriously vanished and another was killed for “violating” friends of the bar.

Carter said he was pleased that, despite all the challenges, they were able to reopen their establishment.

“We had a huge party,” Carter said.

The bar is open daily, with drink specials, tournaments, and happy hour. The Native Bar can also cater to weddings and other events. Contact Carter or Wind for more information.
