The Return of Fight Club!

Saturday the 20th of May was a busy day for the inhabitants of the jungle, and we could hear coins tinkling in the Amazon market, where tribes and merchants sold their products. 

Some products stood out. The Kayapo had nice clothes and some good weapons, especially popular were the spiked bat and their fine handcrafted axes. 

The Jurito sold delicious food, very fashionable hats and other useful articles, and the Xocos had a stall of native art with intense colours that attracted everyone’s eyes. 

The Tapis sold their craftwork, goat cheese, milk and weed and Kaela was selling beautiful clothes and jewellery. 

 

Finally, SALT was offering their famous Moonshine and sold first quality crystalline salt. 

After much moonshine and many, many joints, the Monk Maccus, started playing music and opened the fight club. The fights were violent and bloody, with no mercy on the opponents, while the public bet with frenzy. After hours of intense fight, the Monk announced the results with his inebriate voice and an abused goat as background vocals…

 The results of the first Fight Club of 2023 were:

1st place - Tantrica Mauler Banana-Wilder

2nd Place - Smasher Sergeant Sunisa Minoptra

Runners-up - Catten Goat Man Carter & Eve Botox Heartsong

 

 

The other fighters were: Kiri that showed bravery by challenging the winner, after the final fight, the stoned Tapi shaman who was coughing her lungs on the third round. The elegant Felipe in his uniform, and finally Stephen the businessman who fought bravely, and didn't show any fear though ultimately was defeated by the goat keeper, Catten.
 
As the day turned to night, everyone returned to the jungle… many drunk, stoned, and full of bruises, but all happy with the outcome of the day.
