Explore Off The Path - S.A.L.T.

Near Elder's Path, you can find several freshly made but well-worn trails leading toward the river. From all directions, the paths lead to one place - S.A.L.T. - the place to trade all your goods and possibly services.

Though they don't trade in humans, they do have a wide variety of other items you might need. Or if you have anything you don't need any more, found treasures, stolen goods... you might find that Stephen really loves to barter! Bring your best dealing hat along!

Amber might join in but prefers to watch the money and items. She will make sure you don't cheat on your bargain and that their stocks are well cared for.

The Shieldmaiden's are more than just traders, though. With the supplies they have managed to gather, they are well stocked on medical supplies. Though it's unconfirmed that what they offer may cause addiction, so repeated trips to their clinic for re-supply, if you are in need of medical help - you can easily find something there.

At the very least, they offer a place to rest along the river, a place to relax and enjoy views of the jungle. Many times their camp fire glows late into the night, surrounded by strangers becoming friends and old friends sharing memories.

Maybe you've already heard of them, maybe you have stories to tell about yourself, but if you've not found S.A.L.T. yet, take a trip north, from Gallivant's- the best way is by boat.

I've heard that if you can guess what their name stands for, they will give you a pearl for each word you get right! But, that might just be Stephen's moonshine talking...
