An anonymous source from within the Void has revealed that the Monk known as Maccus recently decided he has "gotten too damned old to be chasing goats" and so is putting himself out to pasture. In order to support himself in his retirement, Maccus is reported to be levying a 50% tax on all gathered and/or hunted foodstuffs throughout the Amazon. These taxes are to be paid at the Amazon River News office in Libertad, and are to be marked as donations to the DMRP (Decrepit Monk's Retirement Pantry).
As an added note, the seeker known as vb wants it known that 1) she is not the source of the above information, 2) she categorically denies ever claiming or even suggesting that Maccus' interest in goats is for conjugal purposes, and 3) she would really like her hair back ... pretty please.
