Amazon Role-Play Tips: Seekers, Monks, Blessings and Promotions

To help you or your friends succeed being promoted by a Seeker (or Monk), some hints that might help.

1. They will judge players on their appearance, role-play, *backstory, *RP Limits and their knowledge of the jungle. (*must be in your profile).
2. The role 'Local' and any advantages a player gets from a 'promotion' are all OOC. After a blessing nothing changes IC, you aren't stronger, no change in ammo etc, all of those are OOC advantages and should NOT be role-played. To put it simply, IC, a blessing from a Seeker or Monk, is just a blessing, nothing more, all the extra advantages you get are OOC and can't be Role-Played about.
3. Avoid common Role-Play errors by taking a good read of our Basic Role-Play Guide.
   

Some advice

Don't ask them for promotion, a new tag etc. Just find one IC and start a role-play with them. It can be anything you choose (nice, nasty, funny etc), just make it fun!

Show them what you can do, and they will role-play back to you and hopefully bless you with a promotion to local!

Seekers and Monks want to give you a blessing, of course it is normal to be a little nervous, but please try to remember, what they really want, is fun, enjoyable Role-Play with you!
