AMAZON -- The Amazon Cartel held an auction this past weekend, netting a grand total of 18,100 coins.

Seven Amazonian women were auctioned off to the highest bidders. Some of the merchandise in the high-stakes auction were not on the original auction listing and were put on display only moments before the auction began.

One prisoner, Tantrica, fetched the highest amount, with the bidder taking her home to do whatever he pleased for 8000 coins.

Ecoterrorist Tantrica begged to be released before being sold into slavery.

Cartel member Sara Ronan-Hamilton speculated the interest in the redhead was because she has a reputation of being strong and is said to be a seeker.

“Who wouldn’t want to bid on her and try to win her? It was an interesting battle to see who was taking her home that night,” Ronan-Hamilton said.

During the auction, Tantrica claimed that she had been captured and sold against her will. Bolero News Services was unable to confirm exactly how she came to be among the items auctioned during the event.

The funds raised in the auction will benefit more auctions.

Cartel General Boluss declined to comment on how the Cartel came into possession of Tantrica or any of the pieces auctioned. Ronan-Hamiliton said that at least some of the items were criminals paying for their crimes.

Besides being a prized item, Tantrica is also a known ecoterrorist who regularly attacks industrial operations and people who happen to be in her vicinity, with the carcasses of rodents and swarms of insects. It’s unclear if her criminal behavior was related to why she was auctioned.

The Cartel auction brought out a sizeable crowd to view and bid on the group’s wares. Ronan-Hamilton said the group’s auctions draw a crowd because, when you bid on the Cartel’s wares, people know they’re getting a piece of merchandise with skills that fit their buyers’ needs.

Lauren and Hope were put in the "blondes" cell.

Indeed, the Cartel is gaining a reputation for having some of the finest auction wares in the Amazon, as their auctions become larger and more lucrative. The Cartel held an auction in October, which also featured one piece going for 9,000 coins.

Ronan-Hamilton said the group reinvests the proceeds raised at the auctions for future events, including a gaming night event currently planned for Feb. 16.

Besides Tantrica, also auctioned was Ath, who fetched 3,000. Mad brought the Cartel a bid of 2,100, and Hope was sold for 2,000. Magg was sold for 1,500, and Lauren was taken home for 1,000 coins. Lastly, Emily fetched a respectable 500 coins.
