Day of the dead decoration contest 2025

Start decorating: Oct. 24 (Friday) Camps have to be ready by Oct. 31 Winner will be announced Nov. 2 Decorations must be gone by Nov. 7 (Friday) Conditions: Decoration must be in your camp. If your camp is on a homestead region and you can not rezz because of region capacity limits then you must rezz at one of the fast travel gates in a full region. Pick one of those plenty available and decorate that travel gate spot in kind. First come first serve. To keep things balanced: every supporter, regardless of panel size, gets 50 LI decoration space. You can pool, but only one on the pool will be awarded. So if Jim, John and Mary have each a supporter panel they can allocate together 150 LI budget to decorate but only one of the three will be recognized as winner. Decoration must be in theme of Day of the Dead. It can include elements from other Middle- and South-American countries e.g Finado or Dia de los Difuntos. The decoration must be somewhat feasible as in: one could do such iRL too. It must not include: Halloween and magic. E.g. a wandering skeleton or a floating candle with a dancing broom look cute but are not in theme. Participants must send a message via "?" -> Mentor that they want to participate and a second message when their deco is ready. It will be assumed that in case of pooling the sender of the message shall be the winner, in case the pool is winning a prize. Prizes: 1st: four weeks lease of a standard panel, worth ~5000 L$. If you are on a panel that supports a different amount of LI than the standard, the number of days/weeks will be awarded according to your panel size. 2nd: 1 week lease of a standard panel, worth ~1250 L$. 3rd and below: honorable mentioning.
